Goodwins' property without due process of law in violation of the
Fourteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution, and from
the award of damages therefrom. In 1983 James and Stasia Goodwin purchased two contiguous
tracts of residentially zoned land north of K-32 highway, within
the city limits of Kansas City. The land was purchased for the
purpose of supplying fill dirt for construction.
